We’re not only lucky to have rock and roll legends willing and wanting to come play for us they also spread the good word about how safe it is in Rocky Point for the Peñasco Palooza 2012 Sta. Patricia’s Day Concert on Saturday March 17.
With well over 40 cars and trucks plus nearly a dozen really cool bicycles, the 3rd Annual Car Show sponsored by the Puerto Peñasco Desert Dreams Car Club was a huge success.
This Sunday March 4th at the Peñasco del Sol esplanade in Puerto Peñasco the 3rd annual Desert Dreams car show will begin at 10:00 A.M. If you’re into custom and restored cars and trucks this show is the place to go for you! The Desert Dreams Car Club of Puerto Peñasco puts this event together to raise funds for the local Red Cross and it has become the “go to” event for car clubs from as far away as San Diego, Yuma, Mexicali, Tijuana, San Luis Rio Colorado, Phoenix, Sonoyta and Caborca.

What’s one thing—other than skill, talent, versatility and professionalism—that the All Star musicians headlining the March 17 Peñasco Palooza 2012 have in common? They all developed a great love of some musical instrument at a very early age. In many cases, the instrument they learned to play, some as early as 4 years of age, is not the one they now play to the professional perfection that helped take them to platinum stardom.
The fortieth formulation they tried was successful, hence the name WD-40. Since it opened in September of 2009, the Tourism and Visitor Assistance Office (TVA) has come a long way from an empty space on the second floor of the blue building just past the Santander Bank on Benito Juarez. The building is owned by Manny Sanchez and also houses his popular Tequila Factory, the only place in the state of Sonora with a permit to offer samples of tequila to the public.
