They’ve poured around 13,000 small cubes (one ton size) and placed 6,000 of them on the jetty. There are almost 3,000 large cubes (10 tons) poured and waiting to be placed. They are expecting an even larger crane in about two weeks that will start placing the big cubes along the jetty…
With all the beer and Margaritas they could drink, plus plenty of chips and salsa, and the satisfaction of knowing they could help the Rolling Rockies toward their goal of getting to some invitational exhibition games, possibly getting closer to buying a used van to help them get to these out of town events, the partiers were full of jokes and laughter and feeling good all over the boat all night long.
Few Dare to Dream. Fewer Dare to Live Their Dreams. Steve and Lulu Yoder are among the ‘fewer’. They dared to dream of sailing the Sea of Cortez, living aboard their own vessel and spending ample time getting to know a country they knew they would love based on past travel in Mexico. They dared to live that dream when they retired. They sold everything that didn’t fit in their 28’ Westsail Cutter-Rigged Sloop and literally sailed off into the sunset. This was two years ago and they are still having fun, adventure and life fulfillment.
